Douglas has served as President of The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT) since 2009. A lifelong manufacturing professional, he is committed to advancing innovative manufacturing technologies and positioning AMT as a leader in shaping industry policy and progress.

Under Doug’s leadership, AMT has spearheaded key initiatives including the development and global adoption of MTConnect, the industry-standard for data interoperability, and the launch of MTInsight, a powerful business intelligence platform tailored for manufacturers. He has also driven the expansion of AMT’s Global Technology Centers and the continued growth of IMTS, the largest manufacturing technology event in the Western Hemisphere.

Doug currently serves on multiple industry boards, including the Reshoring Initiative, the MTConnect Institute, and the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM). He holds a bachelor’s in Business from Syracuse University.
